Hi!

I just found :icongimptacular: today and sent a note to join. I put them on watch and added the link to my siggie and journal as well as my DA ID section, which I'm trying to make into a reference center. After doing all this I noticed that the latest journal entry was in December 2007!!! With no signs of activity since April of 2008, I think it's safe to assume that this group is inactive. You are listed as one of the group's administrators so I thought I would suggest to you to put the club up for adoption at :iconthelist: TheList so that someone else might be able to take over the group and make it active again. I was so looking forward to finding help using GIMP but it's hard to find an active club for GIMP on DA. "Gimptacular" is a great name for a club about GIMP, and your club already has some great works of art in its gallery :gallery:. So putting it up for adoption would enable someone to take over and make it active again, benefiting the DA community as a whole. I would request that you please consider this option.

I will.. I was working on some stuff and then my hard drive decided to fall off my desk and shatter into three pieces.. SO I have to start over and it sucks ass. :(

lol I have a couple shitty extra 20 or 40 GB hard drives if you ever need one.

Well, good luck on starting over. It's probably hard to get motivated after the time you've put in it already.
I feel for you, traditional work can get ruined just as easily. :/
